Daily life ebbs and flows, posing challenges along the way. Navigating these challenges in life can be difficult. Yoga learnings can help achieve clarity of the mind and assist with enduring daily challenges. Asana (postures) train us to focus the mind, have discipline and strengthens our bodies. Paranayama (breath work) teaches us how to breathe and use the breath to clear our mind and sharpen our focus. Meditation is the combination of concentration, controlling the senses and moving your focus inward, training the mind to have clarity.

My name is Kayla
I have been practicing Yoga for 15 years and completed my 250-hour yoga teacher training in 2021 at the Yoga Sanctuary Academy in Toronto, ON. I am trained in Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Hatha with a focus on respecting and treating all bodies uniquely. I understand that everyone’s needs are different and I attempt to offer a class that is nurturing for all. I believe Yoga should feel good, and honour where we are in our journeys.
I understand the importance of Yoga as a wholistic religion. Focusing on breathing, meditation, mantra and asana (movement).
